Best Quick Mess Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get the CleanView Max Tangle-Free Rewind vacuum to clean up our new house! We have 2 kids and a dog so messes are never ending. Right out of the box, I was pleasantly surprised that there was only a few pieces to click together before I was ready to start cleaning. I love that the handle pulls out so easy and you can attach tools right to it. It has made cleaning up the couch and under things so quick and easy. I also love that you can just push a button and the cord winds itself up! I never thought that would be such a game changer but I don’t know how I lived without it before. Emptying and cleaning the tank is also quick and easy. Everything comes apart so easy and can be rinsed out. Once everything is dry, I can put it back together again and I am ready to go again. This has been perfect for making sure the suction continues to be great every time I use the vacuum.

Not a bad vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always been aggravated when hairs, not necessarily dog hairs per se, get all tangled up in the rollers of a vacuum. I have long hair and my dog has toys that she rips apart that leave long threads, both get tangled up in other vacuums. I did enjoy this vacuum for having a tangle free brush roll. I did notice when I put it together to use for the first time that it had somewhat of a "cheap" feeling to it like it may not last long, but of course it is too soon to tell.
The swivel steering made it so easy to maneuver around furniture like tables and chairs, but I kept worrying I would swivel it "out of control" and break it at some point. All the debris my dog and our feet have brought in the house was easy to vacuum, especially on bare floors. It also did a good job on runners in hallways, but it was more difficult to use on shag carpet and did not clean that as well. There are also settings to choose higher pile or lower or no pile for bare floors. The knob is easy to turn.
The lights are bright and a huge bonus for showing dirt, I did not even have to turn the lights on in the hallways when I was cleaning! It did a great job of picking up hairs, dirt, sand, and even cereal that had spilled, so that was a plus. I really love having a cord rewind feature because one thing I hate about vacuuming is having to wrap the cord when I am finished. With this Bissell, you just tap on the button and the cord winds up for you automatically, no need to bend over and drag the cord and wrap it! The extensions made it easy to reach some spider webs we have neglected around smoke detectors and in corners, even for me at 5'4". The extension wand was also easy to release and use. I will definitely use it daily for quick cleanups, especially when I need some lighting or the wand. The suction is powerful enough even when using the extension wand and it sits on board the vacuum without falling off during use.
I found the vacuum to overall have a good design and maybe not of superior quality, but not a bad vacuum for the price-point. It does get the job done and is easy to dump out and clean for the next mess. It is also not too heavy or back breaking to maneuver.

I was disappointed in the structure, it's very unstable and you have to use both hands and all your might to lock it upright in place. I love Bissell but this one's a miss for me.

Reliable Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this is a good vacuum that cleans very well, it's still a bit bulky like all other upright vacuum cleaners. Make sure you have closet space to store it away!
Pros: I love that this swivels at the base! I never thought it would make any difference, but it puts a lot of pressure off of the wrist when vacuuming. The emptying process is also very easily done with minimal mess. The suction is very strong and the bristles can adjust to different heights. It also comes with a long and flexible hose attachment for an equally strong suction to get all of my dog fur off of the couch.
Cons: Although it might be slightly lighter and smaller than some other upright corded vacuums, it's still quite heavy for my preference. It's not slim enough to go under low cabinets, It's about 4"+ and the angle you can hold the vacuum is not very flat so it's hard to to get under things.
Overall, it's a great value for a strong suctioning vacuum, and the swiveling feature is what won me over.

Great features for a great price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that for such a great price you get so much! The headlights and cord rewind are a huge plus for me. I have having to clean up after cleaning, but the cord rewind takes the work out of putting the vacuum away. I also loved the swivel feature of the vacuums making it so much easier to maneuver. We have massive amounts of dog hair on both carpet and hardwood. The vacuum handled cleaning up both floors with ease.
Do make sure you play around with the carpet settings. I started with it set too how, but lowering it down made a huge difference on what the vacuum picked up.
The vacuum head is on the narrower side which is why I gave it 4 stars. It does fit better between furniture, but I did wish it was a little wider coverage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Cleanview Max vacuum packaged very nicely. When we took it out of the box it looks sleek and a lovely color of blue. It looked well made and easy to use.
The automatic cord rewind feature was one I didn't think I cared about but have found it to be very handy and easy to use. Even my 5 year old loved to rewind the cord.
It was so easy and light that my 5 year old vacuumed 3 times that day. We all liked the little brush attachment as it did a great job getting the dog hair off the couch.
We have 2 big dogs, both labs and one who was in the midst of a coat change when we got this and it did a wonderful job picking up the abundance of hair on the rug. There is even a light on front to make it easier to find the yellow dog hair that can often be missed.
We would highly recommend this vacuum. It picks up dog hair and dirt with ease. It's well made and easy and light. I don't have to wrestle with it or feel like I just had my daily workout after.
