Worst steam mop I've ever used

Truly one of the worst products I've ever used. In order for steam to come out, you have to hold the trigger and it is extremely painful for anyone to keep a finger on the mop. It does not stand upright on its own, so to fill it it up you need to sit it down. There is nowhere for the cord to hang so you're just dragging it with you. I will never buy another Bissell product again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Plastic Tubing Is Junk

I purchased this steamer a little over a year ago. It has never worked great from the beginning...I chalked it up to just a subpar product. That was until this evening.....I've always wondered why I never saw any steam from this mop. Come to find out, the plastic tube inside the water reservoir was not connected to anything it was just floating around. I have literally taken the entire thing apart only to find there is no way to get in to the water reservoir. It is impossible to fix the tubing connection. I'm sure it has been like this since I purchased this product. This explains why it has never worked or steamed.....I'm upset with myself that it took this long to figure it out. I now have an expensive paper weight and floors that need cleaning :(

Easy to fill with distilled water. Floors seem to clean up easily. Nice long cord.
I’m 5’1” it is a little awkward for me with the steamers weight on top. I’m use to steamers with more balance. If you are doing several floors your hand tires from the need to keep the trigger held down for the on position. I switch hands. I have not tried the portable steam feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this steam mop for disinfecting my entire house. It works well except it has ONE MAJOR glaring problem. The trigger mechanism doesn't really make any sense. I get that it saves steam, but it should just be a click on/off button or the trigger should be removed and the buttons on the back should start / stop the dispersal of steam. The trigger makes it difficult to maintain constant steam and becomes uncomfortable after long periods. This is literally the one thing that is preventing this device from being perfect.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Weight is a huge issue and i was told this product was light weight. Lie! I am saddled with a product that i cannot use due to the wight and my handicap. The grout tool is amazing, the microfiber pads with scent dics complete the job and leave my floor looking good as new. It started making a loud rattling noise and not enough steam came out to do anything. This was a total waste of money because I purchased the complete package with scented cleaner!!! Not happy !!

I have owned several Bissell products from Crosswaves to Steam mops, but man I've got to learn my lesson and stop wasting my money with this brand. This thing preforms nothing like what you see in the demo video. It may as well be a squirt gun. I would say out of an hour using it, 50 minutes are wasted doing nothing, the other 10 you kinda have steam. It blows about as hard as my 93 yr old grandmother when shes blowing out her candles. If you want something that spits out water and kinda maybe a little bit of steam, go with this.
