Easy to maneuver

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this vacuum complimentary from Stellar Product Review Program. This pet vacuum is so light and easy to maneuver! It makes vacuuming so much easier now without having to put too much force on it. It swivels and picks up so much fur on what looked like a clean carpet. The attachments are great too. There's a rolling brush that helps to get fur off couches or tight spots. There's also a smaller attachment to get into corners. Simple to use, and it is strong at picking up dirt and pet hair. Great vacuum!

Packs a punch in a lightweight vacuum, especially with pets

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a big fan of Bissell, so I was more than happy to try out the CleanView Swivel Pet vacuum. I have two cats and two dogs, so being able to clean up hair easily is a priority. While the design hasn't changed much for clear canister vacuums over the years, it's still a nice looking machine. It was a nice color scheme and it was lighter than I expected. The lightness did make the vacuum seem a little cheap-feeling, but the performance while using it quickly changed that opinion. The brush roll and swivel made it relatively easy to get around the room and was similar to how my cordless vacuum maneuvers. It also seemed to go deeper under things than I expected. The extension wand was nice and made it easy to clean blinds or ceiling corners. It would have been nice if it was also suited for places like the top of fan blades or any high shelves, but it's nice to have that extra reach when you need it. I think there could have been more tools provided with the vacuum. Those that came with it worked well enough, but it's nice to have different more options for different scenarios. I think the smaller wand with the brush head was my favorite tool. I could see it being the one I would get the most use out of. Overall, it's a great vacuum that's easy to zoom around the house to clean up pet hair and more. I would definitely recommend it! And thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum to try out.

Decent Vacuum for the price

While I have other Bissell products, I don't have a Bissell vacuum. I had one many years ago and didn't love it, so admittedly my expectations weren't very high. I have a toddler, a dog, and four cats, so we vacuum a lot. We need something that does a great job and can stand up to heavy use. When I took this out of the box, the first thing I noticed was that it was very light. That can be a pro or a con depending on your needs. For me, it's a con because I've found that if the vacuum doesn't have the weight to really press down on the rug, it's not going to get everything out of it. However, this one surprised me. There was definitely more dirt in the canister than there is in my other vacuum. We do have very low pile rugs and hard floors, and I don't think I could recommend it for a high pile rugs. Then there is the issue of heavy use. Honestly, I'm not sure how long this will last the way we use it. It's light because it's made of light plastic parts, and that tends to not lend itself to longevity. I've only had it for a week so I can't say for sure, but that's the feeling I get. If you don't have a lot of kids or pets and you don't have high pile rugs, I think this would be a great vacuum for you. If you do have those things but this is the price point you need, I think you'll be happy in the short term. I can't speak for the long term.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a sucker for the latest and greatest cleaning products so I have used a lot of vacuums and this is a great vacuum that's lightweight, but still works great! I usually use a cordless vacuum but the battery dies so quickly so this was nice that I didn't have to worry about that, and the cord didn't bother me. It's moves really well, much better than my stick vacuum! The swivel function makes it easy to move around furniture. The brush tool was really interesting-it's hard plastic so it's much stronger than others I've used with a bristle brush and really works well for couches and furniture, especially on pet hair! It was easy to attach the extra tools too. The only con is the cord, since I'm used to using a cordless vacuum, but it actually didn't bother me and I appreciate that it has more power and lasts longer than my cordless vacuum. Definitely recommend-especially for families with pets! I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

A Good upright vacuum

It's not too heavy (I can pick it up with one hand, not for too long though) and easy to maneuver. It's very easy to assemble-took me less than 5 minutes. It can be used on both hard floor and carpet and the head doesn't need to be switched, which is nice. It has 5 different levels of suction. Although I didn't feel the suction power was particularly stronger than any other vacuums. The cord is long, so I didn't have to constantly unplug and plug unless I was going to the next room. It comes with a pet head for cleaning pet hair of fabric, which is nice, although I was not sure if it's better than other fabric cleaning heads that are not specifically for "pet hair cleaning". We have a cat and a big German shepherd who sheds like crazy and the vacuum worked fine for us, with mostly hard floor and just a few area rugs. A few things I didn't like about the vacuum: 1. It's not a small size, I'd need to find storage for it and it feels like a "task" to just pull it out to use. Also, although it's not heavy, I did feel like I had a light work out after pushing it all around the house. 2. It's not very easy to put it back to the upright position, I needed to pay extra attention to make sure the bottom "clicks". I've never had this problem with other vacuums before, not sure if it's only the unit I received. Small thing but annoying. 3. The cord is long which is nice but it sometimes gets in the way of cleaning. But this is true for all upright vacuums. 4. I don't like how you have to put your hand in the dust bin to remove the filter. After 1 or 2 use, the dust bin will get very dirty and I don't feel like to sticking my hand in there!!! Overall, it's a solid vacuum, I'd consider buying it, especially when I have pets at home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a reliable, budget friendly vacuum for everyday use with AWESOME attachment tools and features for cleaning up pet hair. First impressions: lightweight which is great for daily vacuuming upstairs & downstairs; detail attachment tools are so helpful; the spin brush roll is large and wide and I haven't seen dog hair get caught in the brush yet! Love that I can easily carry it around since i have to vacuum daily with golden retriever and longhaired cat. I was surprised at how lightweight the vacuum is because it does have a larger body and power head. I'm obsessed with how far the extension wand can reach and the pet hair attachment tool is so powerful! My favorite tool is the 2 in 1 detail tool with the soft/thin brush at the end. I cleaned all of the nooks and crannies of my bookshelf which was so satisfying. There are a few things I wish were different: the power button and release button to lean the vacuum back is positioned at the bottom; when emptying the vacuum, sometimes I have to pull some of dog hair that gets wrapped around the cyclonic piece; I wish the main handle could go lower to reach even further under the couch; I would prefer the body and power head of the vacuum to be thinner. Given that the price point is so reasonable, I give it 4 stars because it has awesome pet attachment tools, it has a 3 year warranty, and the brushes seem to keep up with my fur babies hair! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this upright vacuum!

Power house

I have a few cats, a dog, and 2 young children, and this vacuum cleaner is a power house! The canister is huge. With my old vacuum cleaner, I had to empty the canister twice while vacuuming my house. With this one, I finished and the canister is only half full. It is easy to swivel and maneuver but does take a little getting used to as it is a little heavier to push than my old one. It comes with so many tools and attachments that make it easy to reach every nook and cranny! The cord is fairly long helping me reach the full room. I'm thankful for this vacuum cleaner!

Highly Effective at Vacuuming Pet Hair & Dander

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this Bissell CleanView Swivel Pet Upright Vacuum. After using this vacuum in my home for a couple weeks, here are my thoughts: The vacuum is very lightweight and easy to maneuver. I do have concerns the lightweight plastic may not be super durable, but there are no indications of problems at this point, and the vacuum performs very well. I have used this vacuum immediately after using my other vacuums (that I thought were doing a great job), and this vacuum still manages to collect a large amount of pet hair and dander. It works equally well on laminate flooring and on different rug heights (it has 5 different surface height settings). I like how easy it is to steer, and I like that it cleans right up to the edges of my area rugs and walls without flinging dust around. I like that I can detach the hose to reach higher up places without the vacuum tipping over, and I'm impressed with how well the TurboEraser tool works on my upholstered furniture. I do prefer the power button and the height adjustment controls to be closer to the handle or on the wand part, rather than on the bottom, but those are not deal-breakers when the performance is this good. Other minor improvements might include a slightly longer power cord and higher placement for wrapping the cord when not in use. Overall, I'm very happy with the vacuum's performance and my cleaner floors.
