I've had several carpet cleaners over the years and this is light-years ahead of them! The suction is amazing... my carpets are clean and they're not so wet its hard to walk on them for hours. It's just the right amount of water to get the job done. I'm so happy with this purchase!

Works incredibly well! Item arrived in excellent condition, instructions were clear and the cleaner is intuitive. Unpacking was simple, although I will say the Big Green is a lot heavier than I was expecting haha. I had used it to clean my living room carpet after moving into a new house, and it had gone superb. Before cleaning, our carpet had these black spots which we didn’t know what caused it but it was an eyesore. It almost looked like oil spots or charcoal, but it didn’t come out with several vacuum passes, so whatever it was, was stained into the fabric itself. This wasn’t my priority, but rather I was aiming to clean up our dogs and cats accidents. Unfortunately our pets seem to have a moment of anxiety because of the move, and so both our cat and dog would pee onto the carpet even after their pee breaks, and I knew we’d need something big to get it out of the carpet (I’ve used the cheaper vacuum style rug cleaners before and they just aren’t powerful enough to remove it.) and so I did some research and found the Big Green Mean Machine, and purchased it while on sale. I found the machine easy to handle but it is definitely on the heavy side, so be aware for anybody with back issues, this machine will cause aches if used for over an hour. That is my only gripe, I do wish it was easier to move around but then again, the suction power is closest to the carpet since it’s heavy.
Performance was awesome!! It removed our pet accidents after a few passes with their Pet Oxy solution, and not only that but it also removed the random black spots in our carpet! That was an added bonus so I am very happy with the Big Green :). The machine feels like great quality and their 5 year warranty makes me feel comfortable with continuing to be a Bissell customer. Highly recommend the Big Green Pet pro for anyone looking to clean up pet accidents, in our case it was dog/cat urine and cat vomit.
