Life changing machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decides to invest in a more heavy duty carpet cleaner, since we just got a puppy this spring who has been struggling with potty training. We have consistently had three dogs and two cats for the past decade, and they have done a number on our carpet, especially in the spring when snow melts. We typically have our carpets professionally cleaned once or twice a year, and that hasn't really been enough. Plus we have a basic hoover carpet cleaner that didn't seem to do much. After using this beast of machine it's an absolute game changer. We have older carpet and some rooms are almost 30 years old now, and they have seen a lot. This machine is basically doing as well as some of the professional services we have hired. Some stains are just never going to come out, but this did a great job at make some of them more faint. The other thing it does it has been pulling up really embedded hair and dirt. I basically spent the first three days. Cleaning and then letting it dry to vacuum up pet hair it was pulling, and the water was still pretty dirty after the first few times. I have allergies to dust and cat hair, and I'm literally feel like I've been breathing bettdr for the past week. I included a couple photos one of a bad coffee stain from a few weeks before I go this cleaner, and had tried to clean with my hoover. The other of our couch cushion where our dog likes to lay. I feel like everyone should have this in their homes, especially if you have multiple pets. I've tried a few of the bissel cleaners and the best one by far is the ultra concentrated version, although I wish it was cheaper and sold in a larger bottle. My only con really is that it's fairly heavy to move around. Other nice thing is it's very easy to dump and clean the machine as well, and straight forward to use.

Ultimately not what I expected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well I tried this carpet cleaner knowing full well it would leave more water/cleaning solution behind than some of BISSELL's other products. To my surprise it left a lot more solution behind. Well this presents a real conundrum, yes it cleans better than about every other Bissell product however it pulls less dirty water/solution back out of the carpet. And I made sure the tanks were properly lined up and seated. So overall the cleaning performance is then on par with the revolution and the revolution hydrosteam. I know I've used both. The problem is the distance the suction force travels along with the junctions from the tanks it crosses to finely get to the carpet. Yes it has suction but not enough to pull a quantity of water out of the carpet similar to what was sprayed into it. Don't get me wrong it did pull dirt, and embedded debris. But so much dirty water/solution. This required me to do an additional rinse on all the carpets I just cleaned. NO I can't do this and not for double the price of the revolution. Sorry people Consumer Reports was right. This thing doesn't have a good enough extraction system and unfortunately not for $400 + for the initial cost.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Revolution x2 but it just didn't cut it on these rugs. I went and rented a green egg and was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked. Once u set it up, which was very easy, and u know when to spray and not to. I love it!

Dirty lines

It leaves dirty water lines as I clean. Requested an exchange for an alternative machine and was denied. Will never purchase another Bissell product again.

My wife and I are both in the medical field and cleanliness in our home is a must and priority to keep our family and others safe from sicknesses. The quality and durability of any products we purchase for our family is critical. Both my grandmothers, my mom and dad, all had BISSELL vacuums we used in our homes cleaning up all kinds of messes. I know BISSELL products are built tough to last, and now that my wife and I have our own house; we are glad to own our BISSELL to help us clean up after our 2 yr old hurricane daughter and messy indoor cats. Thank you BISSELL for keeping the Harmon households clean!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just purchased and have only cleaned one room but was pleasantly surprised at how well it cleaned my carpet. I was hesitant because I had a highly rated Bissell before and it didn't draw the water out of the carpet. But this one does a great job. After pulling out what looked like muddy river water (so gross) my carpet kinda fluffed back up. I love how easy it is to clean up the tanks and machine after you're done. The one thing I don't like is not being able to see very well what it's sucking back up. You're supposed to keep going until it's clear but you can't really tell when that happens. I haven't used the attachments yet. I wish those could be stored on the machine. I'm pretty excited to get the next room done. I hated cleaning carpet with my last machine because I had to continually force the head down into the carpet to get the water back out but it was a breeze with this one. It's definitely heavier than I'm used to but that part doesn't concern me. I have no idea how long this machine will last so time will tell if it's worth the money. But it is so much better than the last 2 machines I bought.

It's completely worth the money and gives a professional clean! With 2 older dogs and a 2 year old I wanted something that would give my carpet the cleaning it needed and this was everything and more than I could of ever imagined!
