This is an amazing carpet shampooer, we've had alot of other Bissell shampooers and this is the best by far.

Simple Design - Powerful Suction - Great Performer

I like it. The design is excellent, and VERY simple...both the fresh (soapy) water and nasty water tanks are super easy to remove, empty and clean, and reinstall, very fast, easy, all good there. Build quality is excellent, feels sturdy, parts fit well.
The remote hose attachment thinger works well. No moving 'brushes' or anything on it but I found it worked decently well on stairs.
Yes, this unit is a little horsey, both the weight and maneuverability, but you get used to it. Feels like much or most of that weight has to do with the motor itself, and the suction is REALLY good on this, carpet is left really barely damp and drying happens quickly if you're slow about your vacuuming motions.
Overall performance, though, I was really quite happy with it. I used it on some medium pile carpet maybe 5 years old, that had never been shampooed with any machine anyway, and the Big Green took out really every stain on the first go, and greatly improved the smell of the place. We have 3 cats, they do cat things, and we vacuum at minimum every other day and often daily, and while our Dyson does a fantastic job on that end of things - it's disgusting how much it picks up - this shampooer has been a really great addition here and I'm quite happy for the purchase.

Not really clean

I really regret purchasing this machine. I feel like it doesn’t clean as well as it should it leaks dirty water, leaves dirty water lines on my carpet. This machine also ruined the carpet padding leaving my carpet smelling foul because it doesn’t suck out enough water. I felt like it was pointless using it also made my carpet worse so what was the point of using it. I felt it was a waste of money that I’ll never get back.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is by far the best carpet cleaner I have ever owned. It removed old pet stains, made my carpets look like brand new. I cleaned over my carpets 2 x and then rinsed with just water, didn't take very long for the drying process. Carpets and room smell fresh. Easy to use this cleaner as well. Finished doing my upstairs steps, and they look great! Thanks for making a great product.
