Good Quick Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does a good job of cleaning up quick messes. It's a bit heavier than I'd like for a quick grab. Was a bit sad and disappointed that it wasn't cordless, otherwise I would've given this a 5 star! I love the sponge/brush inside the vacuum, I feel like it gets everything in a couple passes. It glides very smoothly, doesn't release too much cleaner and air dries fairly quickly.

Powerful and Easy to Use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and have been about to use it all over my house. My house is all hardwoods and tile with a few area rugs and this is designed to work on all of those so it is ideal for our household. I have used others in the past that were cordless and this Bissell is corded, but I actually prefer it this way because it holds power and I can do my whole house vs. having to stop every couple of rooms to recharge a battery for a long time. I like the edge technology that gets closer to the wall. It is also much easier to clean out than others, and it can be gross to clean out a wet/dry vacuum tank so I appreciate the simplicity. It was pretty much ready to go right out of the box and we used the pet cleaning solution that came with it with good success. There was no learning curve and it was very intuitive. I will continue to enjoy using this product for household cleaning made MUCH easier than having to do each step separately.

Wonderful All in One Cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a toddler, cat, and the occasional dog the CrossWave Edge has definitely made keeping my floors cleaner than any other method I've tried. It has made maintenance cleans in between deep cleans so much easier and less cumbersome! I really enjoy how I don't have to bust out my vacuum or pick up food (thanks toddler) before mopping up messes. The CrossWave has excellent suction and can pick up just about anything and doesn't leave a film that some solutions do. Although the vacuum is not cordless, it is not an issue for me as I find cordless vacuums to lose their battery longevity over time, I also feel the suction and working power with corded home appliances to be better than their cordless counterparts. Cleaning the CrossWave is very easy and reassembly is simple and quick. Overall this has been an excellent addition to my daily cleaning maintenance and has helped keep my floors cleaner! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this wet and dry vacuum.

CrossWave Edge vacuum gets the job DONE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this wet and dry vacuum cleaner from the Stellar Testing Panel. I am in my early 40s, married with a toddler and work full-time. When I am cleaning the house, I need to be as efficient as possible because I don't have a lot time or energy. I also have to be very mindful of the weight I lift due to a previous back injury. I have a relic of a vacuum cleaner that i have had for years which does pick dirt up but is clunky and hard to transition from carpet to hardwood/tile floors. And then I have to use another cleaning tool to mop. Oh, and don't get me started on trying to wash the carpets. ugh.
In comes the crosswave edge wet/dry vacuum. It was surprisingly lightweight and easy to assemble. This gave me pause as I have used some lightweight vacuums in the past but have not been impressed with their ability to pick up all of the dirt. Then as I was reading the instructions I was dumbfounded. This little sleeky, sexy vacuum will pick up dirt AND wash the floors/carpet? No way. I decided to try it on all surfaces definitely thinking that it would instantly become clogged with hair, dirt and not really effectively pick up everything. I mixed up the solution in the cleaning tank and installed it into the back of the vacuum. WARNING: MAKE SURE THE CAP IS ON PROPERLY. Even though the instructions did warn about this, I thought I was good and put it in the vacuum and immediately solution started pouring down the back of the vacuum. fail.
Once I fixed that issue I turned it on and let the cleaning begin. It is so easy to push around on all surfaces and I watched with both amazement and horror as the dirty water reservoir started to fill up with very, very dirty water. I felt the hardwood and carpet where I had just vacuumed expecting it to be sopping wet and it wasn't at all. Matter of fact, by the time I had finished cleaning the room, the first part was almost dry. I was so excited that in what seemed like no time at all, I had vacuumed and essentially mopped the floors/washed the carpet. Cleaning out the dirty water reservoir was a breeze. The vacuum is really compact and fits easily into my little closet.
I am truly impressed with this little vacuum. When cleaning is so easy that you don't even look at your watch and essentially clean more surface area than intended because it is just SO easy, you know you have a winner. I would absolutely recommend this vacuum for people that need effective carpet/wood/tile cleaning done as efficiently as possible. Well done, crosswave edge, well done. I have a feeling my floors are going to be a lot cleaner in the future.

Must have for kids and pets!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With 2 toddlers and 7 animals, we were ecstatic to receive the Ceosswave edge to test as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Our old vacmop just died and we have been on the hunt for a new one.
This vacmop did not disappoint! It sucked up all the dirt with ease. One thing I loved about it was the ability to get close to the cabinet. The handle swivels well and the suction picked up dirt along the edge with ease. Our old vacmop would only pick dirt up if you went under the edge head on, which was kind of a pain. The head is also thin and makes it easier to get under things.
It did a great job at cleaning the floor. The brush roll is really plush and scrubbed all of the food spots and paw prints with ease. The large waste water tank allowed me to clean the whole house before emptying. It also didn't leave the floor soaked so that it dried quickly. I was a little hesitant of the cord but found the length to be good and I only had to change where it was plugged in once. I also feel like being corded made the suction much better.
It was kinda gross to clean, but I think that is just what it is with this kind of vacuum. But I was able to rinse everything with our diaper sprayer and it wasn't too bad
Cons: it's soooo loud. The kids were annoyed with the noise and the dogs were scared. Also, the pet hair seems to get trapped between the brush roll and the brush roll cover. It didn't seem to deposit it back on the floor though
Overall, the pros definitely outweighed the cons and I'm actually excited to use it again!

Bissell CrossWave is a Parent's dream!

As a parent of 3 small children (6,5, & 3) and a cat owner there is constantly spulls in my home. A lot of the mops we have (electric or not) are fantastic at cleaning the surface, but addressing a mix of solid & liquid mess has been a 2 tool job.
The crosswave has been amazing! It is quite light and comes with a tray for it to sit in! I love that it is compatible with my other Bissell cleaning solutions so I do not need to buy ANOTHER liquid! Within hours of recieving this my 3 year old knocked into my cats water & food bowls spilling them all over the floor into a soggy mess. It also vacuumed up sticky Milk & cereal that left a residue! The mop brush/cloth is very soft and will not damage your floor
The crosswave easily vaccumed and mopped the mess up and did not leave a streaky scene on the floor. The crosswave is quite nimble and can move around. I only wish it could tuck in even tighter under low tables.
I thought this tool may be for messes only, but i found myself mopping the entire first floor with it!

So much better than the old mop and bucket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the new Cosswave Edge through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and so far I am a huge fan of this machine. I like the simple, compact and lightweight design of the entire thing. It comes with a tray to store it on and use for a self cleaning mode. I have hardwood floors throughout my home and mopping them is always a pain, this machine makes it so much easier and faster for the daily clean. One room takes half the time to clean and dry than the old way did. I have children and pets and I have to say, even when I thought my floors were fairly clean, this machine picked up some dirt and animal hair that I honestly didn't even see. And when the floors dried I don't see the streaks I have in the past. One of the things I like the most is the tray that the machine sits in to self clean and store in between uses, rather that just a bucket in a closet. So far I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend it to anyone with only short windows to clean every day.

Good deep clean machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good replacement for deeper cleaning/ mopping. We have a robot vacuum we use on a daily basis that vacuums and mops. But it's not enough alone for a thorough clean. The CrossWave Edge is a great supplement to that. I feel like it does much better job than mopping with about the same amount of effort/time. You do need to use their cleaning solution and it does require to refill the water somewhat frequently. It works well on tiles, hardwood floors and carpet which is nice. The floors felt cleaner than with mop or robot vacuum. I wouldn't recommend it for smaller spaces, it was harder to navigate in a bathroom. The version I have is corded which I dislike BUT I didn't have to rely on battery and was able to clean larger areas. It's a trade off. I think it's too much to set up/deal with for everyday cleaning but it works well for weekly deep clean.
