[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I'm only two weeks in and don't feel this review covers the breadth and depth I'd hope it will. This freezer was an add-on to a bigger upright we currently own. It helped us get out of a small chest freezer. I like the bucket at the bottom of the freezer and the racks in the store have nice holding depth. The adjustable shelving is nice also. I don't care for the fact that the refrigerant is flammable but it seems like all appliances are going that route. Had I known that prior to purchase, I could have went to my local hardware store and bought a freezer. I think, knowing what I know now, I would have held off on this purchase a little longer. It does what I need it to do now but I feel it will be to small in the long run.

Very Functional Freezer

Consistent with a little green light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We owned a 10 cubic foot freezer from a competitor that would stop running without notice every few months. I always managed to notice the failure to run just in time, till it's last time to stop running. I didn't notice it not running. We lost everything in the freezer. We immediately drove to the local orange DYI store to find a replacement, and immediately settled on this 13 cubic foot freezer. We liked the bigger size. The previous freezer had drawers that we thought would be useful, but we wanted the shelves in this freezer so we wouldn't have to constantly dig through drawers. The previous freezer was a manual defrost, this one isn't. This freezer also has a small green light on its bottom that shines on the floor just in front of the freezer letting you know it is powered on(we keep it in our laundry room). The power on light is a great idea! The new freezer holds a consistent 0 to +2 degree F temperature. And it was on sale! We are very pleased!

Works great so far

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No problems with freezer. It freezes food like it should. Only issue is the green light at the bottom. The function of the light is great, it just takes a little to get used to in the middle of the night, very bright!

Garage Freezer Upgrade
