My New Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new Frigidaire 13 cubic foot freezer. It freezes food quickly and is just the right size for the space in our garage. I also like the temporary hold when I close the door, being assured no hot air can get in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought this unit online so it was difficult to have an idea of how big it was and how everything inside works. when i got it i was disappointed at how small it was and how only the 2 top shelves are somewhat od a regular size and the next two are half the size. Also when i keep things in a clear container to keep organized inside, when i pull the container towards me to see what is inside, the shelf slide too and everything falls. Shelves are not secured inside.
Also the buttom basket that can be pulled out is small and the front is shorter than the back and sides so i cannot put too many things or else they will slide out.

Love this Upright

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son started raising meat chickens and I needed to buy an additional freezer. I have had chest freezers in the past and I just couldn't stand the thought of loosing my chicken to the abyss. The uprights are a bit my expensive, but so worth it. This freezer is not only very spacious but it is also frost free. That means plug it in and forget about it. If you are in the market for a freezer, this is the one. You won't have any regrets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replace a Kenmore 6 cu. ft. upright manual defrost freezer that operated without a hitch for 10 years. Every 6-7 months it had to be unloaded and defrosted. Advancing years made it a big chore. This Frigidaire was purring like a kitten as soon as plugged in. Reached 0 deg in less than 4 hours. Loaded it up and had plenty room to spare. Smallest size we could get with auto defrost. Can barely hear it running in the garage. Plenty of storage options in the door and unit. Best of all, no more manual defrosting. Very well pleased so far.

Size Matters

It was an emergency and I thought by going to my local hardware store and making my selection was going to be easy. Be certain you measure your old one. I didn’t. Bigger is better as I found out but I’ll make it work. Delivery was made the same day and the men helped me exchange my food. Thank you Hostetters Hdwr., Mount Joy, Pa. All is working well. Remember, the real deal is when you purchase and repair service is available from your local dealer.
