This model is perfect for a family of two...a larger size would be needed for more folks imo. Placed the unit in our garage; hope it can handle hot summer months. Bottom line, we like the freezer so far and would recommend it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DONNA!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about 3 weeks ago as a birthday gift for my wife. She said that she really didn't need it but I wanted it! I thought it was going to be too large but my wife filled it up quite nicely. It was placed in a corner of my basement (in a private house) near a window and out of the way. Both of us are very pleased so far and like the shelf space in the main unit, as well as on the door. The inside is brightly lit. A green light on the outer base indicates the freezer is plugged in and operating. There is a one knob control for simplicity. We both like our freezer very much..so far!
