Perfect choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was originally going to buy a short 5 cubic foot freezer, but changed my mind because 1) it had about the same footprint as a full size, so I might as well get more storage space, and 2) the short one wasn't self-defrosting, so I'd have to unload it, connect a drain hose, etc to defrost. So this model was a much better choice.
Delivery was terrific, the guys wheeled it up to the door on a dolly, then used carry straps to take it the rest of the way. They removed a door where the freezer was a bit too wide, and replaced the door afterwards. Excellent job, and they were done with the whole delivery in about 10 minutes.
The freezer itself is awesome. I love all the storage space, and the directions had helpful tips about loading it to ensure the food was well protected.
I like the power light that gives a clear indicator that the freezer is working and the food is safe.
I have no complaints at all, this is a great freezer.

Quite a buy

It's quiet, cold (duh) and has far more usable space than its modest dimensions would seem to offer. We really appreciate the reassuring green light that shines on the floor to let you know all is well in freezer-land. AND it's the most energy-efficient in its class. Well done, Frigidaire!
