A fantastic replacement for my chest freezer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This upright freezer is a replacement for my 14 year old chest freezer, which is still working. I had it moved to my basement. I wanted a freezer that I didn’t have to defrost on a regular basis. I also wanted a deep freezer that I didn’t have to dig through to find the item that I needed. With this upright freezer I can organize everything on shelves and know exactly where something is as soon as I open the door. No more digging around to the bottom any longer. This upright freezer fits every need that I have. It keeps everything deeply frozen without all of the ice crystal buildup that a chest freezer gets. The compressor is super quiet and sometimes I wonder if it’s even working. But there is a bright green light at the bottom of the freezer outside right underneath the door that lets me know that it is still keeping my food frozen until I need it. Plus I love having that bright green light to use as my night light in my mud room where the freezer is located.

Preserving with Frigidaire

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really like our new 16 cubic ft upright freezer! It replaces a similar one we had for years, and I appreciate the improvements. Shelves are not as deep, so things are easier to find. There are several options for shelf placement so I can arrange things for our usual items, and the air circulation seems to be much better than the old model.
