[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After research we choose the Frigidaire and we are so glad we did. Our previous freezer only lasted 7 years and in that we had a major repair. This freezer is so much better and it cost less. The shelves are perfectly placed, the light casts its brightness on the whole freezer. The blue light on the outside lets you know the freezer is working. Thanks for making such an affordable and quality freezer. Good job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had my freezer a couple weeks, so I can't review the reliability. I like that it has a bright light to show that it has power. It appears the shelf issues have been fixed from previous models. I do like that the doors can be switched, though we did have a few issues with getting that accomplished. It is very awkward to have to lay the freezer down to change the door direction. My only complaint so far would be that the door magnet should be a little stronger to make sure the door completely closes. In reading reviews before purchasing this model, this was an issue then also.

Replaced a chest freezer (different brand) that only lasted 5 years. This upright is much nicer & easier to use. Really like the self defrost & door storage.
