Plenty of space in this freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 16 cuft freezer is just what I needed,now I can purchase all the ice cream I want without my wife complaining about no space in our refrigerator/ freezer.Also we can take advantage of sales on meat ,baked goods etc.The built in warning features of high temperature,and power off gives me a sense of securitythat my food will not spoil..My freezer sits prominently in my garage for easy access for loading when return from shopping..The shelves are sturdy and door storage is great.

Upright freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an upright Frigidaire Freezer that is 20 years old and still working. I don’t think it’s as energy efficient as today’s appliances so I replaced it with a new larger Frigidaire Freezer. This new one is frost free. Has a light inside, like a refrigerator. It’s big and spacious. So far, so good.

It's very difficult to write a review since I have only had the freezer for less than 30 days.
So far, it is working well with less noise than the previous freezer. We ordered a "garage ready" model, as it is placed in the garage. During the cold weather that we have been having, it has adjusted to the colder garage temperatures well and is keeping the food inside frozen solid. I do wish that the freezer had a front handle that could be pulled to open the door rather than the indented space on the side of the door. The indented space is fairly deep, so allows a fairly good hold, but I can imagine that it would be possible for your hand to suddenly slip out and broken fingernails could be the result. Also, I would think that this type of door opening would be more difficult for someone with arthritis in their hands than a dedicated handle on the front would be. I suppose that the indented opener was selected to allow for more compact measurements.

We chose this Frigidaire freezer model because of the many good reviews about it. As time goes on, I am hoping that it lives up to its good recommendations. As I said, so far, so good!

Great freezer
