Happy with freezer

We actually purchased this freezer as our old chest freezer was a Frigidaire. The old chest freezer is still working 17 years later, so we felt comfortable with Frigidaire would be reluable. This is a garage ready model.The only reason 4 stars instead of 5...I think baskets are needed to keep food from falling out. I did purchase baskets, but having them would have been nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am happy with this freezer and it is energy efficient. It holds the wrapped whole Kuni pig we purchase + there's room for chicken, beef and the door holds my homemade bone broth.
The feature I am most excited about is the pull out drawer in the bottom. I can easily pull it out to see what is in there to use. This may seem like a simple thing, but my old upright didn't have a drawer and those items got forgotten about because there wasn't easy access..

Well designed, love having lots of room, shelves, door shelves, everything about this freezer coming from a chest freezer is a plus. My only con if it is a con, is the basket. I think it is too large and would be a catch all must like a chest freezer, hunt and find spot. But I don't know what else could be done. Maybe some smaller shelves? I like everything about this freezer.

The size of the unit is perfect for the space in my garage. It chilled down quickly up one installation and it is very roomy. I look forward to filling it up! I appreciate the light at the bottom of the unit so I know it’s powered up.
