Shelves a Big Problem

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The freezer has a nice arrangement for the cubic feet it has, but the shelves and the ledge they sit on… woof. The design SUCKS! They should be wider. They slip off the ledge/cut outs all the time, thus dumping the contents on the self to the floor and making a huge mess. In the photo, you can see the shelf is barely hanging on and if I shift it over it’s like that on the other side then. They slip off. And not because there is a lot of weight on the shelf.

Great Upright Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new freezer. The only thing I don’t like so much is the compressor causes the outer sides to get SO hot, and, when opening the door for even the smallest amount of time, it makes it go off.

Works great and very quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not was easy to unpack and even easier to assemble, basically comes assembled, but you have to remove a few things to get the packing off. Plugged it in and set the temperature. That’s it! It runs so quiet I had to let it set for a few minutes to check the inside temp to ensure it was working and it was.

Quick and quiet

Much quieter than the old freezer. I consulted Consumer Reports while shopping and based on their testing, I expect to be very pleased with the freezer for a long time.

Efficient and affordable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Frigidaire upright 16 cu. ft. freezer just a few days ago and it is working fine. I was a little concerned that the outside walls were very hot after first plugging it in and turning it on, but I understand that is normal. Since then, they have cooled down considerably. The freezer is just the right size for our needs. I expect to be able to use the freezer for many years to come.
