Every time the door is open for even 10 seconds the high temperature alarm goes off, even though the temperature is 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Then it takes 30 minutes of unplugging and opening the door to reset the alarm so it is silent. We would like a replacement but Frigidaire wants to send a local repair service that can’t come for two weeks.

It is so unfortunate that you have had this experience with your upright freezer in such a short time. This is an issue with the high temperature alert. If the temperature inside the cabinet exceeds 21°F (-6°C), the LED light at the bottom of the cabinet will flash and the alarm will sound. The alarm can be reset by opening and then closing the door. The LED will continue to flash until the cabinet temperature is below 21°F (-6°C).

Good freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this freezer. There is plenty of room and ot got up to temperature in about 3 hours, so I was able to get everything back I'm the freezer without stuff thawing out. It does not seem to have an icing problem either. My old freezer was constantly getting ice crystals at the bottom of the freezer.
