[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 100 degree temps our old freezer wasn't doing it's job. They delivered our new freezer and from the git go it froze everything. It has more room then the old one and with no frost works just PERFECTLY! Thank you!

Why does this freezer use a flammable refrigerant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like everything about this freezer except that it uses a flammable refrigerant CYCLOPENTANE. The new freezer is located in my basement about 8 feet from my gas water heater with an open flame pilot light. While the likelihood of a refrigerant leak is small, should there be a leak, there is a high possibility of fire or explosion. I bought the freezer without knowing the flammability issue beforehand, and would have searched harder if I had known this earlier. I’m not sure if there is an actual alternative freezer available using a non explosive refrigerant .
