I love all of the features of this frostless freezer including the alarm system for low temp and the very bright power light that can be seen at just a glance!

Not a great start

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for five weeks now. At install, we changed the hinges to the other side; apparently that's not a good thing for the door seal. It had a "memory" for the original configuration, and doesn't seal on the new hinge side now and so warm and moist air gets in. We didn't know this for a week, until the warm temp alarm--now my favorite feature--alerted us and we saw frost everywhere. It's been four weeks since we started down the repair path, and still no resolution. Frigidaire tells us the door seal part won't be available for another two weeks. Right now I have it rigged with some cheap stick-on door seal from the hardware store. Not a good start. Other than that, what can I say--it's a freezer and, when the door seals, it works. But seriously, we're looking at non-consumer freezers right now. I'm about ready to tell the retailer to take it back.

Useful and well-executed features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this and installed it in our cold garage a month ago. It functions just as advertised and as I hoped. It is a little larger than the previous freezer, but using the advertised dimensions to plan the space, it fits our location just right. The features of frost-free, adjustable shelves, useful door pockets, and a green LED light to indicate "on" were all valued features for us. Although it cost more than others I considered, it was the right choice.
