we felt this was the best freezer for our need. It is very quiet and efficient with lots of room.
we filled it with contents from old freezer and still have room for more. I has a smaller foot print then the old one.

Great Garage Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After 35 years ... yes, 35 years ... our 23 cu ft freezer needed to be replaced. I did a lot of research and decided on the Frigidaire 16 cu ft Upright, in large part because it can be kept in the garage.
It's narrower and taller than our former freezer, but is on wheels so moving it, if necessary, is easier. It can fit a full sized cookie sheet and the shelf heights are adjustable.
Two great safety features -- the signal when the door is left open for more than a few minutes. There were several times the door of our old freezer wasn't shut completely and we didn't know it for days (or weeks) resulting in food defrosting. And the green light to show it has power not only protects the unit when there is an outage, but is bright enough to give off light to walk in the garage.
We're very happy with our purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm a first time Frigidaire customer and so far I am pleased. It has plenty of storage and the interior is well lit; which makes it easy to find things. I found out by accident it has a beeper on the door if it's left open too long, so that's a plus. So far there has not been a lot of frost buildup so I'm happy about that. I also like the green light on the bottom showing me everything is working at a glance.

Great Size Garage Freezer

Hard to level = would like more baskets on interior

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it came the company did not level it. We had to do it and ended up placing shims under it. Could only level two directions not all four. Works well but need baskets or something so things don't just slide out.
