[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frigidaire makes the absolute best freezer. This is our second one. We purchased one last year and it’s great. We’ve not had one problem, so we decided to purchase another, same size and model. Now we have two sitting side by side in our home.

Just what I wanted!

I finally chose the Frigidaire 16 cf upright freezer. It is perfect! It fit exactly where I needed it to fit. The factory recommended settings are just the right setting. LOVE IT!

Does the job

Plugged it in and it cooled down quickly and has since kept a steady temperature of -5 to -2 °F cycling about 17 times/day. I can't hear it running so its really good for indoor locations. So far no frost although I live in a desert. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I was disappointed it didn't have as many shelves as our old freezer (which was a Frigidaire that lasted forever) - but maybe that's just what I was used to. Did go buy some containers to better hold the food on the shelves. All in all this unit is recommended.

Great upright for the price
