SOOO Much Room!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love!! I initially had the standard deep freeze, but I am so glad I upgraded to this!! So much easier to get your items out and use them, because you can see what you have!! This offers so much room, and everything is so easy to find! Love having this much space. The shelves and then the additional storage on the door offer so much storage space. So pleased with this product!

Good freezer, but reversible door quality issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Freezer is good, bright, usable, works well. However, there were manufacturering quality control issues on my unit that affected the door reversing, so I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 5. The left side hinge plate screw holes (only used when you reverse the door) were installed 1/8" forward of the default right side ones, which meant that the door wasn't straight up and down, and the gasket didn't seal. I didn't feel like returning the unit, so used my drill press and a file to re-manufacture the heavy steel hinge plate so the door would close properly. Added an hour and a bunch of frustration to the door reversing process. Something to watch out for if you intend to reverse the door (one of the main reasons why I bought this particular unit). Frigidaire should look into this quality control issue.

Improved model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our previous freezer was a Frigidaire and lasted 16 years. Was still working when they hauled it away.
This model has a number of improvements. The cold air flow system is much improved compared to the older model. This has one additional shelf compared to the original.
The key requirement we had was the width since it was going in a small room, Fit perfectly!
The delivery and set up was handled very well.
