[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had a smaller upright that was not self defrosting. It kept the food frozen but not with consistency. The Frigidaire is everything it says. Consistent cold. Floor light gives you confidence that it is working and is cold. The interior is simple and functional with built in shelves on the door that hold a surprising amount of my wife's favorite ice creams...at perfect temperature. Freezing soups and sauces is effortless. I just have to remember to take them out earlier than I used to....after all the are thoroughly frozen. Last but not least, I can rely on that consistent cold to flash freeze all my kale and other hearty greens for use throughout the winter. A great freezer for the cook and the gardener.

Upright Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a freezer....everything in it stays frozen. It is quiet and the door closes with just a slight push. The only thing not perfect about it is I wish the wire shelves had a lip stop on the front edge to keep bowls and such from sliding off. The cold wire shelves are very slick and we have had a few things in dishes almost hit the floor. The other thing to be aware of is the sides get pretty hot out in our garage in the summer. This is clearly stated in the manual and you HAVE TO give it plenty of clearance on either side. Heres hoping it lasts 32 years like the one it replaced.

Great Feezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only owned the freezer for a few weeks, but it works great! The size is perfect - not too big and not too small. Looks like it will be easy to clean and shouldn't need much maintenance.
