Excellent garage freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our very old garage freezer finally gave out...during a pandemic. I never expected to have so much difficulty finding a new one. I left my name at a local appliance store, and they called when this model arrived. It is smaller than the one we had (16 cu ft vs 20 cu ft). However, all the kids are out of the house now, and we do not need as large a freezer. This one is a basic model, no frills, but it does the job well. It cooled off quickly, and we were comfortable putting our frozen items in the same day that it was installed. I like the green light that shines at the bottom, onto the floor, to let us know that the machine is running. I was surprised that the shelves in the door hold almost as much as the ones in my old freezer. I also like the door notch (handle) on the side. Because ours is in the garage, it is nice not to have a handle sticking out. The notch on the side is ergonomically pleasing and easy to use. All in all, we are happy with our purchase!
