Very Happy I Chose this Model

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this unit a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with it. It's quiet and spacious, holding far more than I anticipated. The recommended temperature setting has done the job no matter how empty or full the freezer is, and there is zero frost buildup on the shelves, walls, or food wrap. I have food stored (properly wrapped) in foil, freezer bags, vacuum bags, and butcher paper, and so far I see nothing that would indicate that "freezer burn" will be an issue. I'm looking forward to many years of reliable service from this Freezer, and definitely give it my endorsement if this is the size unit you're looking for.

Poor product testing

Woks OK but shelves are too narrow

Shelf problem, shelf keep falling down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this item in Nov 2019 and last three months I tried to contact Frigidaire on the shelves problems and have not gotten a respond from Frigidaire.
It looks like the molded shelf brackets are too small or too short, the shelf does not stay secure and keeps falling down. Basically I can't use 1 whole shelf because it keeps falling down. It looks like what the manufacturing built is defected and that the mold was too small. Frigidaire told me this is a cosmetic problem and they won't do anything.When I bought the fridge, I was told it was a one year warranty, but when I called them, they told me that they changed it to a three month warranty. My problem is that they didn't honor the warranty at the time I bought the fridge (the one year warranty) and decided to change all items to a three month warranty without contacting people about this change.
Really sad.

Cheaply made

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They don't build them like they use to for sure. Find that it was cheaply made and the cord to plug in freezer was almost a foot shorter than the cord on the freezer we replaced that was only ten years old.

Freezer shelves- I’ll save you a headache

Short version: the freezer has full depth freezer shelves and short depth freezer shelves. ONLY extra short depth shelves are available for purchase. There are is no place to put extra short depth freezer shelves. It only has the pegs/infrastructure to accommodate full depth freezer shelves but they don’t sell them! Come on!

Disappointed in New Frigidaire Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 20-year old (still-running) Frigidaire upright freezer to avoid any unexpected failures. Since our old Frigidaire gave us good service, Frigidaire was our unquestionable choice for a replacement.
The new freezer had been operating less than two weeks when the top shelves defrosted and the bottom shelves solidly froze. We had just filled the new one with lots of frozen items (during this pandemic we only go shopping every few weeks). We are now waiting for replacement parts (Fan and Main Board). We have lost confidence in the reliability of the Frigidaire Brand. If the repaired freezer give us problems again, we will definitely not choose Frigidaire next time.
