Great Freezer but the Door will not switch sides.

I cannot give it 5 stars because we actually bought this so we could put the door on the other side and no matter what we do, the door will not seal when sides are changed. Freezer is level, everything matches, big gap at the top, ice inside. After 2 days of trying, gave up. It is inconvenient with the door not being able to switch and the freezer would be awesome if it did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plugged my new Frigidaire freezer in and 3 hours later my thermometer read zero degrees. Totally silent, completely efficient. I’m glad it has a floor light to let me know is still cooling. Holds a large amount of food which by its excellent design is very easy to sort and retrieve. A great investment!

Great freezer with solid features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Frigidaire 16 cu. foot upright freezer is a great freezer with solid, easy to use features. Our last Frigidaire lasted over 25 years, and I expect this one will as well! Love the door open alarm/alert, that will sound after being left opened for a few minutes, this will be a “life saver” at times, especially with the kiddos getting things from the freezer. Also have really grown to love the green indicator light that shines out the bottom onto the floor, it really gives peace of mind at a quick glance that all is well in the freezer. The adjustable shelves in the freezer are nice, and the basket at the bottom is so handy. The freezer also cools down quick and stays cold even in a warm garage without constantly running. This freezer is a great value for the options!

It was "cold" within hours and has maintained a consistent internal temperature - I have a freezer thermometer on one of the shelves. It if continues to be as reliable as it is simply handsome, we have a winner ...

Perfect freezer for my needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this upright freezer one month ago to replace a 20 year old 7 cubic feet Fridgedaire chest freezer that was still functioning. I love the new freezer. It has an attractive stainless steel finish, more space and an interior light. It also takes up less floor space. Everything about it is positive and will definitely recommend to others.
