Our new Frigidaire upright convertible freezer has us very happy so far !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Frigidaire Upright freezer can be used as either a upright freezer only or as an upright refrigerator only by selecting your desired temperature. We use ours as strictly an upright freezer. I like how it fits within our available space with plenty of room for air circulation around the unit. We had a terrible experience with another brand so when we recently purchased a Frigidaire washing machine and have been very pleased with it’s performance so we went with the Frigidaire brand for the replacement of our upright freezer. Without being on the coldest setting it is already maintaining a lower temperature -15°F than our other brand unit did on the coldest setting. We like the appearance, performance, and the shelving design inside.

Frigidaire upright freezer/refrigerator

It replaces a different brand we had previously which lasted less than three years, and the cost to repair that freezer was more than the freezer was worth. We purchased Frigidaire because of the reviews. Hoping to get several years out of it. So far it has been in place about a month and is roomy and is working as it is supposed to. Particularly love that there's a light inside.

What we were looking for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generally we are very happy with the freezer/fridge it was reasonably priced on sale. We purchased two to be a side by side frig/freezer. We setup as fridge then while waiting for delivery of second one we switched to freezer. Temperature got to 18 overnight. (Note: there are no marks for temperature setting so a purchased thermometer I have on hand gave me temp reading) There is no information regarding weight limits or materials used. We are disappointed that the shelves appear to be thin plexiglass and has very small support at corners. This gives concern that we might overload the shelf. We could have used more shelves as there is a lot of space between them. The bottom basket could have been a little bigger.

Good choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this freezer after much research to replace a 20 plus or freezer that finally broke down. This one it’s slightly smaller than the one I had before I chose this because of the Garage ready feature. I’m hoping it will keep the food fresher without the icing of the food and I can convert it to a fridge if I need to it look good in the garage too.

The perfect upright freezer!

Garage Freezer/Fridge Combo

Very roomy, quiet and skinny enough to fit in the small space I had. There's a little green light on the very bottom that let's you know its on.

Quiet and keeps good frozen temperature even during defrost cycles
