Good appliance - vague manual and poor support from Frigidaire

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very pleased with the freezer but when we tried to change the door opening side the directions were so vague (note: the door light connection wiring stays on the left side of the upper door hinge regardless of which way the door opens) we contacted the Frigidaire online chat option for assistance. First we were told the freezer did not come with this option and we had to show the person where in the manual and on the website this feature was listed. Next they sent us contradicting information and when we asked why the information they sent was different, they told us they weren't the right people to contact and told us to call a number for another department. We called the appliance store where we bought the freezer and luckily one of the repair techs had just dealt with the same issue the day before so he was able to explain it (he agreed the instructions we very unclear).

Great Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this freezer a couple of months ago. It is the best freezer I have owned. The way the cold air is dispersed up and down the freezer is great. Everything in the freezer stays frozen the same. It runs very quiet. And the green light that is on the bottom lets me know it is working perfectly. And the 16 cu. ft freezer holds much more than I imagined. You can arrange the shelves any way you want them and there is a lot of storage on the door. This is a great freezer.

Just the right size’

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Frigidaire freezer! It is a beautiful color and has easy to maneuver shelves. I am amazed at how much food it holds. Also, the freezer can be adjusted so the door opens to the right or the left. For me, I needed it to open to the left which is perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Needed extra freezer space. This freezer is working very well so far. Unfortunately had a chance to test the ‘stays cold for 2 days’ feature when we lost power during storm. Power was out for 18 hours and the food was still frozen after power returned. I like the outside power light that reflects on the floor. I wish there was an option for a lock with little ones around.

Super Freezer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago, the door was banged up somewhat on delivery. I contacted the Retailer, and a week later my new door was installed. I love the way that the freezer appears to "Suck" the door in when you close it. Very nice tight seal.
