Pro Plus with the travel case is the one to get. The shave is good but the convenience makes this a worthy buy. The travel case is worth buying this shaver for .

Stopped working after 3 years

Was working ok then it just stopped charging. Changed the battery - still wouldn't charge via the cleaning station. Was able to charge with just the power cord but then would turn off again after 5 seconds of use.
Since it's been more than 2 years, we are no longer under warranty. Called the service center. Told to mail the shaver and cleaning station to a servicer (which we need to pay for) and then they will tell us how much to repair it. Debating whether it would be worth getting it fixed. We spent good money on this and was expecting it to last longer than 3 years of 3-4 times a week of use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The Best Razor I've Ever Owned

This is the fourth Braun razor I've owned over the years, and it's the best one I've owned. I previously had a Series 9 razor, but it literally fell apart after three years. I bought the 9 Pro, and I love it. This razor gives me the best shave I've ever gotten every time I shave. I also love that it's quieter than my old model 9. I like the ProComfort Head. It really works as a pre-shave routine to help get a better shave. I also love the Mobile Charging Power Case for travel so you don't have to carry a cord with you when traveling. The razor is expensive, but it's as close to perfection as I've seen in a razor I've owned. If you can afford it, I recommend buying it.

Great razor with no skin irritation

I have never been able to shave without some skin irritation. Bumps, bleeding and itchiness. That changed when I invested in this shaver! The ProComfort head seems simple but it's highly effective. The cleaning base is great as well. If you're on the fence I can't recommend this enough!

I had a Braun Series 7 for 10 years until I recently lost it. This Series 9 shaver is a significant improvement over the previous one. I am very happy with my purchase.
