Just went shopping for a new washer. Had this model in white, from 2021. Replaced a pump which was a code that popped up. My warranty unfortunately was only 3 years. The pump was not the problem. No kids, no crazy amounts of laundry. 2 lodads on the weendend and bedding when needed. I tried to support american made. I could not repair the washer so now anyone that will listen Im telling them stay away from GE or atleast this set. Repair people wouldnt work on it because it was "digital" waste of 1200 dollars. Hopefully the dryer hangs on longer. I know people post reviews of a week in is great. But 4 years is outrageous. If companies arent going to make a prodcut that lasts a minimum of 10 years, dont plan on keeping return customers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Front load GE washer

[Employee of ge_appliances] This washer is great. I had a top load and loved it until the transmission started leaking shortly after I purchased it, when I had the maintenance man come to fix it, he said it would cost as much as I purchased it for. Since I had it more than a year the warranty was no good. He told me that the best one on the market was this one and that even though top loads are great to start, the transmission goes on them within the first 5 years. So I went back to a front load GE after following up on my own research and reading many reviews. This is a great product for the price.

I did two loads from get go the performance is on point and so far amazing capacity and efficiency The technology its impressive with the features of this appliance with ease of control accessibility

Horrible Washing Machine

This is the worst machine I’ve ever had! After 1 year and 5 months it stopped working and doesn’t drain.

Large Capacity. Read Instructions thoroughly!

Large capacity. Lots of choices that may be confusing to even an intelligent person, however, I suggest reading the manual. You have to dig for the answers. The odor control vent runs approximately 8 hours. No one tells you that at the store so it's not automatic. The washer is quiet for the most part but it goes back and forth. You cannot use pods I don't think and I tried studying how to use detergent but it's too confusing. I will be contacting GE to ask exactly how. Trust me, I read the instructions but they were unclear. I tried to add a picture but system wouldn't allow. It does look as pictured in ad.
