Satisfactory Front-Loading Washer

This model does a good job overall at washing fabrics. It also has a nice look and a large capacity. I really like front-loading models because they seem to do a better job of washing clothes as well as larger items like comforters and sleeping bags. It is fairly quiet and has a sufficient number of wash cycle options. It also lacks features that I found unnecessary, like steam cleaning and a "towels" cycle. I do wish the "default" normal cycle was still cold (like the older comparable model) vs. warm, which seems to fade and deteriorate fabrics faster.

Great front load machine!

The machine is easy to use, and I like that I don’t have to leave the door open to vent it since there is the Vent System. It’s weird that there’s no “whites” load option but I don’t know if that matters or not, I just run a regular load with hot water. I love that there is a sanitize load option, and that I have an option for extra water if needed. It’s also pretty quiet in comparison to other machines. It holds a good amount of clothes and washes my blankets without the banging you sometimes get. I’m very happy with my purchase.

Love this machine

I have had front loader washing machines for over 20 years. I would not go back to a wringer washing machine. I really like this GE. It has a big drum and does a great job of cleaning the clothes.
Plus saves on water and detergent.

Runs quietly

So far, so good. Just bought it on 4/9/26 and have done several loads of laundry. My other machine broke down midway thru a cycle, so I had a bunch of clothes that were sopping wet. I put them in this machine and was pleasantly surprised that it didn't make a difference that the clothes were wet, it went thru all the cycles as if it was a normal load. The machine runs quietly and efficiently. I have no complaints.

Control board failed

Control board failed just after 3 years. Luckily we purchased extended warranty but that took 4 months to complete and get a replacement washer.
In looking at other posts this seems to be a common problem.

Product is great but your registration does not allow me to enter my Territory under states. I live in the US Virgin Islands and there is no option for VI so I entered the nearest location to me, which is Puerto Rico.
