An Eco-friendly Option with Clear, Bright Prints

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right out of the box, the setup of the HP Smart Tank 5100 All-in-One Printer went smoothly. The HP app—downloaded after scanning a QR code in the printed instructions—guided me through every step of the process with helpful animations. From removing the items from the package to installing the ink in the wells to placing the printheads in the carrier, I did not run into any issues. Once up and running and connected to my wi-fi, the device automatically printed its calibration page, which I then scanned to align the heads. I then printed a photo of the painting, The Kiss, to check the vibrancy of the prints. I was amazed! The detail and the brightness were captured perfectly! My only issue with the printer is that the onboard display is minimal and does not provide much information/guidance. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this simple yet effective printer.

HP 5100 Smart Tank Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased the HP Smart Tank 5100. The setup process was easy and quick. The instructions were very clear. The documents I have printed so far have been of decent quality.
One of the main reasons I chose this printer was its refillable ink-tank system. With my previous printers the cartridges often dried out because I didn’t print frequently. My friend has told me that the HP Smart Tank will resolve this issue as he has experienced the same issue in the past. I do like the concept of the refillable ink system and am optimistic that it will fulfill my printing needs.
My only disappointment is that the printer does not have an automatic document feeder or multipage scanning capability. Each page must be placed on the scanner individually.
Overall, the HP Smart Tank 5100 has been a choice and meets my printing needs for both my mobile phone and laptop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not a bad printer at all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As long as you follow the instructions, setup is really easy. The hard part was making sure all the drivers were installed correctly. I'm in the middle of printing something for work and it just quit printing. I may not be the most tech savvy, but I'm decent. After a lot of research, I ended up having to uninstall the drivers and completely reinstall everything to get the error cleared. Once that was done, it's worked like a charm every sense. The color prints come out clear and crisp, as do the black copies. It's not the fastest printer I've had but I would definitely recommend checking it out if you need a printer.

Easy to Use

It was very easy to set up, the instructions were easy to follow, but I had my daughter set it up. Filling the ink tanks seemed simple, because she was finished in a flash. The printer is also very easy to use, it has a control panel and it lights up. Print quality is nice and vibrant, whether printing school assignments or everyday documents. It operates quietly and delivers prints quickly, making it ideal for my home. With my two grandsons in highschool this printer is quickly becoming a household favorite.

Best Home Office Printer for the Price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to install, the instructions are easy to understand. high quality printer. The ink tanks are super easy to fill and seem to last forever, which is a huge relief. Printing from my phone over Wi-Fi worked right out of the box without any fuss. It’s a bit slower than big office printers and doesn't auto-flip pages, but for everyday home use, the ink savings make it totally worth it.

Finally no ink cartridges

I love that this printer does not take cartridges. It was super easy to set up and filling the ink reservoir was straightforward. I am so happy with my purchase.
