[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've been using an older model ink jet multi-function printer in our home for quite some time, and we originally only wanted a laser printer to replace it... But we also wanted color which is not as easy to find in an affordable laser model. My husband suggested trying the HP Smart Tank 5101 All-in-One Printer. I was apprehensive due to the printer being an inkjet, but we gave it a shot. My goodness, the print quality on this MFP is fantastic. Way better than I expected, it uses hardly any ink and the paper doesn't warp with the ink printing like some other inkjet printers. The colors are vibrant and I love that I can view how low the ink is getting easily through the windows on the front of the printer. The prints are miles better than my last printer and I'll never look back!! Be careful, the ink refills are supposed to be leak-proof if they fall over, but my husband try to show off this feature to me by shaking an ink bottle upside down and got black ink everywhere 🤣

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I FINALLY GOT THE CHANCE TO SET UP THE PRINTER AND BEEN LOVING IT EVER SINCE. I UPGRADED FROM ANOTHER HP AND WILL ALWAYS BUY. NO CARTRIDGE CHANGING IS SO GOOD. THE QUALITY OF THE PRINTING IS THE BEST.

It's always been a pain getting printers to connect and stay connected but this one has worked like a dream. Everything comes out exactly how you want it to as well. The ability to see how much ink is left is a pretty cool feature. I know everyone has had moments when they couldn't get something done because ghey had no clue they were almost out of ink.

I like that the ink should last a long time and that I do not have to buy ink cartridges. I like that I can scan from the app and also print when I'm away from home. The only thing I do not like is that it is not the fastest printer but it gets the job done.

I purchased the HP Smart Tank 5000 to replace and older HP OfficeJet Pro that had gotten old and worn. I also wanted to save money over the ink cartridges. I am quite happy with this printer. The print quality is great and its ability to handle heavier weight paper is very helpful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I had another brand that uses cartridges and this thing is so much better. No more buying cartridges every couple months. Now I can buy bottles for about the same price and last wayyy longer. Over all the printer is easy to set up with the HP app on my iPhone. Within about 10 minutes I was setup and printing photo. Does take a little longer due to filling the tanks and inserting the print heads. But over all a great and seamless experience. App works very well to print photos directly from my phone and my computer recognizes it right way on the home network. Definitely pick this tank style over Any cartridge printer.
