I was skeptical of all home printers, especially with Apple computers. I decided to give this wireless HP 5000/5001 All-in-One-Printer a try, and I am delighted that I took the chance. The set up was easy and the print quality is good. I do not use the printer everyday, but the ink and the performance have still held up producing good quality prints reliably. I highly recommend this product.

it seems my laptop and the printer do not connect wirelessly - sometimes the printer is available on my laptop and sometimes not - requiring rebooting of laptop and printer. In our day and age of "we want it now" this is frustrating

I don’t love that if my phone or computer goes to sleep while printing it will cut out of the job and just be blank from the point it went to sleep. I also don’t love that it doesn’t print double sided. My printer that this one replaced (which was much older) did that and I’d have thought that newer technology would just do that. That is a big con to this printer and the reason for my rating.
