Surprisingly "heavy-duty" lightweight printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy I got this printer! I've been needing to update my office space, not just for me but for my home business, too. Setup is incredibly simple, mostly just removing cardboard pieces and tape, but every step was easy to follow along with in the setup instructions. In a few minutes, I was able to get started right away! From refilling to scanning high-quality sketches / drawings to printing bulk pages and files, this seems to be a winner! I really love how simple it is to see how much ink you have on the side of the machine and the ability to connect wirelessly makes this able to be placed virtually anywhere in my home without it feeling "anchored" to my studio desktop. If you need an inkjet that can print rich images on a budget, definitely look into this one! I'm pleased with everything I have printed so far and can't wait to print more impressive and larger scale projects soon.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This printer appeals to me most for the longevity of the ink. I rarely print pictures at home due to how much ink it uses and am excited to start printing at home. The setup is still a little work in progress. I’m not quite tech savvy but with the help of my husband it is up and running. I printed my first picture and it came out fantastic! It does print regular pages very quickly. I have printed quite a few and it appears to have used little ink so far. I am excited to explore more projects as I get to know this printer better.

Great easy to use printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my printer around the time our old one had broken down which was perfect time. My partner and I were not sure what to expect of the setup process. It ended up taking us around 20 or so minutes to set up as the instructions were very easy to follow. The printer itself is lightweight and not bulky at all which fits perfectly on our shelf. So far the quality of the items we have printed has been amazing. Only thing I would say is that it's a bit louder than our previous printer but honestly not a big deal. We are excited to keep testing our new printer.

Great tank printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setup of this item was relatively easy and fast and I found the most difficult part to be placing the paper inside the placer holder. Besides filling the ink tanks, the printer was set up the same way as any standard ink jet printer. The performance of printing was fast, reliable, and had very good color accuracy. It was also simple to set up on multiple devices ranging from PCs to phones. The only complaint I have is actually the paper holder. It falls down very easily without paper in it and can make it very difficult to refill paper as the notch is very small. I definitely wish HP had focused on making a more fixed permanent structure to hold the paper vs one that can be compacted into the body of the printer for transport.

All I need in a printer

Initially it was hard for me to setup because of my wifi issue (which I need dual bandwidth - need 2.4 ghz to connect). After resolving the problem, it was very easy to connect. So far it has been great. No subscription needed to use as I had laser printer which I need to subscribe every month to use it. The scanner is clear as can be. Love it!

Upon receiving and setting up my printer I instantly fell in love with the Ink cartridges and how much it holds! The print outs have been so vibrant and crisp. The color printng has been on point every single time. I love having the ability to guage the depth of the colors. I haven't experienced any fading tones even after using our printer for quite a while. I have been recommending the HP Smart Tank 5101 All-in-One Printer often.
