More Complicated Than Usual

I have used TurboTax for out 7 years, and I feel like this has gotten more complicated and more expensive over the past couple of years. I still used it because it's nice I can just do it from home, but I'm starting to think I may look into other options.

I upgraded to premium for 99, but was charged an additional 40 for a processing fee, which was never mentioned. And I used my refund, so what exactly is being processed??
