Great, but need AI assistance

Turbotax is great software since it covers most of the tax situations, but it seriously needs an in-built AI agent to help with tricky questions like errors in some Schedule A or 1116 form that an ordinary person won't have any clue. With Google Gemini I could get through many qestions.

online version is better

Turbo Tax is Helpful but Limited

We ran into some glitches. We wish Turbo Tax could make the process easier, especially filing for Foreign Tax Credit. Very difficult process. They need to allow an opportunity to go back when asked to "fix" an item before filing. They need to explain what it is we are fixing, what it's about, and if we enter something wrong, they need to allow an opportunuty to go back and edit the answer. They need to give helpful tips about reporting RMDs & non-deductible IRA contributions in order to minimize taxes due.

Turbo Tax is so irritating

Extremely long process. Why do you have to type it all in and then review it and re-review it and then a last check. Like It makes me question if i did it wrong. Just have a screen where someone can type in all their 1099 Forms, W2s and review once & calculate.

Great, just a couple of things

Very Good but I noticed 2 things.
1. When I saved my amended return and tried to look at it in Adobe Acrobat, Adobe told me there way an error, but proceeded to display. When I used the EDGE browser, it would not display the 1040-X pages. Chrome, FireFox and DuckDuckGo DID display the 1040-X correctly.
2. Payment options. Only gave Direct deposit/deduct and Paper Check. On-line payment is also available. I have to say I'm going to use a paper check, then pay online.
