Horrible in amending tax return for 2023, was charged in doing so, which I should have not been. amended 2022 also.

Easy to Use

Turbo Tax was very easy and efficient to use. I was able to do both federal and state tax in one sitting. I recommend Turbo Tax for people who have basic tax filing needs; nothing too complicated.

Simple Product

Software is very simple to use and follow. The prices seem way more expensive than others and especially since Free Tax USA allows you to file for free federal taxes and you only have to pay for state, I think prices should be lower at the start of the season and get more offerings for assistance whether than price hike when adding tax pro..

Turbo Tax is a necessary Evil

upselling at every turn, no way to return to a sub window if you entered the wrong information (in some cases). You basically have to just live with incorrectness if you find the error. The 'we're working on your return' loading infographics are infantilizing. I would not be surprised if processing times were artificially elongated to make it seem like you were doing more.
