Pro Outweigh the Cons Every Time

I've used Turbo Tax every year since 2013, always for my Federal Taxes and usually for my State Taxes. Convenience beats any other cons I can think of with Turbo Tax. The benefits of protection, record keeping, track record, other products within the Intuit Suite, and peace of mind outweigh my complaints. My complaints are that it's expensive and its upselling practices feel a bit predatory. But the only cheaper option is filing it all yourself and I just don't have time/energy for that.

I would Definitely Recommend!

This is maybe my 8th year filing my taxes with TurboTax and I wouldn't do it any other way. TurboTax makes it so easy to enter in all my deductions and complicated income situations. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there is sometimes questions asked after I've entered in all of my information. It seems these things get missed each year but I don't understand why they aren't asked during the information entering process. It adds time I didn't think I needed during the review process to the end of the filing process and changes the amount of refund anticipated right at the end. Other than that small thing, I enjoy getting my taxes done quick and simple with TurboTax.

Turbotax is not awesome

TurboTax will do whatever it takes to ensure they get there money, too expensive, $40 bucks just to maybe get a tax return early, plus whats advertised as a free service you still end up paying over 130 bucks even if you do it yourself.
