not that great but good

hard to login buying from outside source.
hand to change computer because could not change operating system to 11 already change to 10 could not go any more. Purchased new laptop. could not recover info.

TurboTax gets even worse, more complicated, obtuse

TurboTax is terrible. Big cost increase, and now you can't even have a copy reside on your own computer. Too many questions fail to provide actionable guidance with the question, and also with the help box. Failed to find and insert values from previous years TurboTax return, Unable to conveniently look up 2025 Federal 1040 data to verify or insert into 2025 state tax returns. The entire user interface changes every year even when the tax code changes are insignificant. Last year it erroneously calculated tax due.

It was not clear what went where or why. My state tax due was higher than expected. I could not review the Indiana state forms to investigate, and I spent a great deal of time trying to validate the amount due using other sources. It also would have been helpful if TurboTax had explained how the tax on my SSA was determined as it related to my AGI. It also bugged me to hear that other people were getting their taxes done for free.

Turbo Tax is just OK

I would have liked to see my tax return at various stages in the process. I did not like going out and finding the forms after the fact. Sometimes it is nice to see the amounts on the lines on the form as you're putting the info into the system.

Bring back desktop

this version doesn't explain things . I muche prefer the desktop version that you did way with. after 31 years of using turbo tax desktop this was a horrible experiance. Not all information from last year was imported to this year
