Turbo tax on-line Premium 2025 needs attention

Turbo Tax software is still a great resource. I was disappointed that the on-line version didn't display the tax owed until late in the process. This version was much more difficult to navigate than the Desktop version, plus it cost more, and I was charged for two copies this year that I didn't use. The Help fields were not clear, and the information in them did not update when I corrected errors that I discovered. The deductible valuation part was easier to navigate, although available choices were limited. The audit payment portion didn't allow me to use my debit card.

Navigation is too slow at times, esp when revisiting sections.

Their estimated time to work on the filing is based on a relatively simple tax filer. If you have anything unique - you moved to a different state, worked in multiple states, or get special tax breaks, you will struggle to use this system and it would have been better to hire a tax expert or to use their higher-priced options. They are not good for state returns, whether filing in one state or in many. Just pay for the upgrade or hire an expert.

Desktop version is way better

Desk top version of turbo tax is 1000 times better, this online version was horrible to use, information was hard to find and the workflow was far from smooth, not to mention cost four times as much. I will not use online version again.
