Turbo Tax makes it easy and user friendly but it's frustrating to know that this is a completely unnecessary purchase because of the lobbying that Intuit does to keep the IRS from creating a free service. And it used to be pretty affordable and now Its over $200 for the most basic package

Using turbo tax was a terrible experience.

My experience with turbo tax was extremely frustrating from start to finish. I could not upload my previous year's tax returns even though I had followed instructions to a T. There were multiple issues throughout filling out my return that wasted so much time and caused much frustration.
