I have used TurboTax for about 20 years and I find it very easy to use. This will be my last year using TurboTax as the price has become to steep especially with the free versions available from the IRS. It has been a good ride, thanks. Sorry I will not be back.

I'm always pleased with Turbo Tax. The instructions are super easy to follow and the ability to double check your numbers is great. I will always use Turbo Tax as I have for the past years.

This year's turbo tax is no longer user-friendly

This year's product is NOT user friendly. It's a major shift from past TurboTax desktop products. Past products were easier to use and more user friendly. You could view your tax forms as you completed each section and switch back and forth. You can't review your return until the end when you confirm you have paid. When I bought the product, it was stated when was included (free federal and state e file). The change made it feel like you were trying to nickel and dime me during it use. I'm not satisfied with this change and it's not user friendly like the product was in the past.

Initial survey questions should do a better job of identiying pertinent taxable events to develop process-tree questions related to those topics (2025 purchase of depreciable assets subject to bonus depreciation).
The question are inconsistently unclear, ambigous and lack context. Terminology is also inconsistent between the questions and the pop up windows which attempt to provide context but fail to.

Turbotax for the win

Turbotax has been a pleasure to work with for all these years. It makes the process of doing my taxes easy and efficient. The software gives me confidence knowing that my taxes are done right and it even offers the support when needed.
