Trying online instead of desktop...

This took a bit longer than expected. Overall I was satisfied, but I did have some issues importing data, which was not the case in years past on the desktop version.

TurboTax is loaded the traps, pointless upsells and money-grabs. The screens and information is actively misleading. It's almost impossible to find the free version mandated by federal law and the prices are not clear - each question you answer may or may not trigger an upsell to a more expensive version of the software. I support legislation to abolish commercial tax filing software and you provide countless examples of why it holdbe dopnme . Even this stupid form is intrfering witmy typing and flashing pointless 'review topics' soft pushs.

I work in tax administration but needed to use software for the first time in several years due to my wife inheriting investments. I trust that the program carried the amounts to the correct schedules, forms and lines.

Rental double entry

There was confusion when I saw double entry of my 2 rental units resulting 5 rental showing up. I have never seen this before using Turbo Tax and it caused much anxiety and worry that my filing was a mess so went back to triple everything.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
