First Time Struggle

I feel like at the end of the day, my taxes are correct, but... it took me hours because it kept having me review things that I ended up not needing to do. Since I was new to using TurboTax, it worried be because I was afraid I was missing something. It was much more involved than I expected. I did ask for help twice and the folks were very nice and helpful. This was my first time going through the process. I'm hoping next year will flow smoother.

Missed an obvious error

The system missed an incredibly obvious error in our Virginia returns. It asked how much income "you" (seeming, based on past questions, to mean "Nathan" and not "Gailynn") made in Virginia. It imported the amount of income that I, Nathan, made in Virginia. I did not notice until the second-to-last step that it in fact had been asking about BOTH of our incomes. The system absolutely SHOULD HAVE CAUGHT this, because it calculated a NEGATIVE income in Virginia, which is obviously impossible.
