TurboTax is simple to follow

could use a little more checks on obvious errors. math that don't make sense. I had to catch input errors.

This product shouldn't exist. American citizens shouldn't have to deal with for-profit companies in order to file our federal taxes.

I use TurboTax every year because it is extremely user-friendly. I feel like I receive the maximum refund and feel confident it was prepared correctly.

Turbo Tax is now too expensive and upcharges

I was unhappy with the cost of the online product. Also, the SW no longer allows you to easily get to the forms that are behind the interface. It forced me into an upgrade from the Deluxe to the premium due to a mistake that could not be corrected without clearing all my data. This may be the last year I use turbo tax.

Tricky Consent to Transmit data to 3rd Parties

Overall fine like always, but what really got me frustrated was how it somewhat 'defaults' you to get the 5 day filing faster but also needs you to consent to sharing info to 3rd parti. that was super tricky until reviewing the fine print. Not Cool Inuit!

A good experience

Very convenient and quick to have last year's information available. It was reasonably fast this year overall. I did get a little annoyed that the medical expenses deduction would not go away until I filled all the boxes with zeros. Also, it would have been useful to be asked about all the uncommon situations. I paid estimated taxes but was not asked about it. So the refund was "tax due" until I found the estimated payments at the end of a long list. Overall, a good experience.
