turbo tax sucks

garbage product. UI design is so frustrating as it keeps taking you through loops. So many excessive clicks to get to where you need to go and constantly showing things that aren't relevant. obnoxious upcharge for 'complicated' tax situations which are actually pretty routine

TurboTax made my tax filing process easier

I believe that TurboTax has made my tax filing process easier. A major difficulty in preparing tax return is to figure out what is needed for me. TurboTax sorted things out through asking me questions to clarify my tax condition and decide what forms are required and what tax benefit might be applicable to me. It also helped me catch the excess HSA contribution that I did not know.
If to talk about complaints, sometimes the questions could be a little confusing and I am unsure what it is asking. Also the section about self-employment is quite confusing. I had commission for the previous fiscal year, so it popped out again this year. I have not done any commission for this fiscal year, but I could not find a way to get out of that part.
