This is not a free service. I paid for the desktop version. I was unable to import any of my documents. Afterwards, I used the online version to file. It cost 150+

Thorough but increased complexity

I'm 86 and each year you've increased the complexity of just signing in - you need to reduce this level of complexity our you'll exclude more and more seniors. Develop and simpler but secure sign-in procedure.

Turbos tax is limited regarding NJ Federal TSP

New Jersey return did not allow for nontaxable portion of Federal Thrift Savings plan. Did not realize this until filing 2025 now have to ament 2022, 2023, 2024 return and file 2025 by paper!

Too many attempts to upsell that are confusing and distracting. Priority should be me submitting my tax return not you trying up sell me 20 times.
