Deceiving Practices

The lack of an overall upfront fee is ridiculous. $35 to deposit refunds into my personal checking account? that's dumb. Trying to force someone into a new checking account with you is ridiculous when you are already paying $100 dollars or more for the service. It is all very deceiving.

Turbo Tax has gotten more difficult to use

Turbo tax was harder to interface with than in the past. I have used Turbo tax for many years. This year the questions on IRA distributions were different and more difficult to answer as I am 73 and taking my first Minimum Required Distribution. If I stopped and saved my place,, when I came back the program brought me back to the same general section but not the same page. Often, I had to go through multiple pages again and again.

Online vs Desktop

Good product but still room to improve

Some of the features worked well, some were difficult to navigate. One of my chat questions gave a response that was not compatible with the software interface options available. One of my input options did not work as expected since I wanted to type my own information and was not able to get to the page to input information forcing me to download the information. Once I was able to get all the information loaded, the forms were completed accurately.
