Sketchy and Secretive Program

While I love the idea of the AI in theory, it dumped all of my deductions (but did not tell me)! So I was left owing taxes -- I almost did not question it, until I could not find the expenses. Also -- hid additional categories for expenses behind three dialogue boxes - it almost felt intentional! The lack of transparency in the layout of the TurboTax filing process has always left me feeling like the system/developers/stakeholders are intentionally withholding information. So frustrating. Whose side are you on?

TurboTax online

For many years I have prepared my taxes by installing the TurboTax software on my PC. I was not able to do that this year and therefore prepared my taxes online. It seemed more difficult. Much prefer the "old" way.
