No to TurboTax 2025

I have been using TurboTax for years. This was the most difficult and challenging year that I have used TurboTax. The software created issues in importing information from 2024 and my bank account; I spent way too much time deleting and correcting wrong information. The software would not read PDFs when I uploaded them. The live chat with a tax expert was cumbersome and difficult to use. The program showed that I was owed a federal refund and then changed the refund to money that I owed as I was doing the state section. Even typing my review here is challenging - the system glitches and does not show what I type. I had to type this review in Microsoft Word and paste it. I am extremely disappointed with the TurboTax software this year. I cannot recommend TurboTax after this year.

You didn't let me change my payment method and forced me to pay a $16 transaction fee. This was AFTER charging me $103 for your "services." You people are scumbags and thieves.

After selecting the Standard Deduction, TurboTax never ask about our Estimated Tax Payments. I had to use help to eventually find out how to enter our payments.
Also, had a very difficult time finding & selecting the Deluxe package which showed a price of $119. I ended up being charged $129. Not very happy about the switch, but wanted to get finished. State was supposed to be $64 & it dropped to $59. Not sure why pricing options can't be up front & much simpler. Thank you.
